I did the drop in Saturday morning tea session with Brook today and had a wonderful time! He is extremely knowledgeable about the types, flavors, history, culture, and brewing methods of tea and truly made the experience enjoyable and educational. It left me inspired to dive into the world of tea myself. Not only that, but the shop also had many delicious/unique chocolates, the atmosphere is so cozy, and the staff were all so friendly. Definitely stopping in again at this hidden gem!

I've been to every chocolate store within 100 miles of Madison, and some of the "best" in Chicago more times than I will admit, and tried every drinking chocolate maybe in the Midwest. Hands down Yahara Chocolate has the best Drinking Chocolate by a large margin. There are good options, then there is Yahara Chocolate. This place stands alone. Their dark chocolate is exceptional. I'm not sure I've seen any chocolate bar selection so wide and varied. The folks that work there are so friendly and welcoming. They also have a big tea selection but I don't know much about tea. You can learn to make pottery there too. I'm not one to review much, but I wanted to put out there if you like (and especially if you love) chocolate, don't hesitate to make the trip. This is a destination. From this chocolate lover to you: Bring your friends, make a road trip out of it if you have to. Dis mus be da place.

Love this gem! We regularly attend the "make-your-own-pottery" events, and always have a blast. Brock and his crew have so many fun ideas which are great for newbies to pottery, but also customizable if you are more familiar. Phenomenal selections of teas and chocolates from around the world, as well as options to buy ready made pottery, mugs, etc. An must-stop when visiting Stoughton, and a destination all on its own. Great place to get gifts for others, too.
